The beautiful alpine village Hinterthal with its fabulous, coloured flour landscapes is located idyllic in the impressive Hochkönig (high king) massif and the Steinerne Meer (stony sea). A wide variety of walking and climbing tours can be made from our door step A wide variety of walking tours into the entire alps of Salzburg and Tirol can be made. Salzburg is only one hour away, while Venice/Italy is about 4 hours away. In Hinterthal one can either relax or live some very sportive holidays. Hinterthal is located in the middle of one of the most densely golf areas in the alps. |
One of the other possibilities is to go swimming at the beautifull Ritzensee or to the public swimming pool in Maria Alm. Being an affiliate of the Hochkönig skiing lifts our guests can use free of charge the new chair lifts from Hinterthal on the Hochmais peak and from Hintermoos on the Aberg peak during the summer period. This will make mountaineering especially attractive and easy, as these lifts will bring you on top of the most beautiful alp mountains without any effort. So everyone can walk very easily from peak to peak with wounderful views. (As a matter of course we will show you the nicest routes.) |
